WELCOME TO CY-CREEK HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY I
Hi, I am Jaime DeGarmo and I will be teaching Chemistry I L and K levels at Cypress-Creek High School this year. I am very excited to start teaching Chemsitry and look forward to an exciting year. This will be my 3rd year teaching, all 3 years have been with Cy-Fair ISD. This will be first year at Cy-Creek, my first 2 years were spend at Goodson Middle School.
Before teaching I went to college at Texas State University - San Marcos. GO BOBCATS!I was there for 5 1/2 years. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in December 2007, graduating in 3 and half years. After I received that degree and took a semester off, I went back to school to work on my Master's. I went into the Education program and received my Master's in Education in December 2009. I still go back to San Marcos frequently because my younger brother is still in school and is Presdient of the Student Body for the 2011-2012 school year!
And now for a little personal information about me. I am engaged to my best friend and the most wonderful guy in the world, Rob. We are getting married March 2, 2012 and I can not wait!! We have a precious little dog, named Charlie, who is a Cocker Spaniel - we were told a full Cocker but we think he has a little bit of Boxer in him... I am still super close to my parents and they mean the world to me. I am in the process of helping them clean out their house, get their dogs ready and other little things to help them for their move over to HAWAII! My dad recently got a job with The Gas Company in Honolulu and they are moving right after my wedding. Exciting and really sad at the same time! In my free time I like to spend time outdoors (when it's cool) and at the pool and I love the Houston Texans! I've been a fan since 2002! If you ever need anything please email me and let me know!
I am very excited to get started with this school year and I will be updating this as we start going!
